Matt was in charge of Jack pretty much the entire day, so I could dedicate uninterrupted time organizing our pantry. It's been a disheveled mess for months now and finally I decided I couldn't stand it another day of it. Now that it's complete, I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulder and it feels so good. I plan to
slowly tackle every nook and cranny of the house into practical, functional spaces.

| The After. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It may not be "Pinterest Perfect," but it works for me. I did away with a lot of my pasta jars and baking containers. I was getting sick of wasting time emptying the boxes into different containers. It seemed kind of silly to do and this is a lot more practical and efficient. Being that Matt and I are on a tight budget, I utilized things that I already owned and two of the bins were actually diaper boxes that I simply wrapped in gift wrap. It will work fine for now, until I can afford to upgrade in the future. |
I just cleaned mine out too!! I've been on a total nesting kick with a week off work! Looks great Lains!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura! Although, I'm pretty certain yours looks 100x better. :) I cannot believe you are gonna be a mommy in just over a month! CRAZY! I feel like I was just at your wedding, having the time of my life. ;) I will continue to pray that your baby is happy and healthy and that your labor goes smooth. Let me know if you have any questions about the big day, I know that having a child doesn't make me an expert, but I know when I was pregnant it was nice to have people to count on for advice. But I will only give you my two cents if you want it, because I know how annoying it is to get unwanted advice from people that think just because they have kids of their own, they know EVERYTHING on the matter.
